My Rescue Story
My name is HAPPA Faith and I came to HAPPA after being found living in awful conditions that were not suitable for animals. I was rescued along with a number of my friends and when we arrived it HAPPA it was clear that we had not received the proper care we needed for a long time.
I was extremely nervous and was very weary of people. I started my Journey to recovery in the Isolation Unit where I received a visit from the vet for a health check. I had a very dirty coat and scabby legs. The Equine Care Team spent a lot of time with me and I slowly started to gain a little confidence. I got used to having a head collar on and had a lovely warm bath to soothe my skin.
I have since moved on to the Main Yard to continue my Rehabilitation. I am still a little nervous of people, but hopefully my confidence will continue to grow.
I’m going to spend the summer getting back to full health and making lots of new friends
