My Rescue Story
My name is HAPPA Heidi and I arrived at the Centre following an investigation by another welfare agency. I was removed from a site with a number of other equines, our previous owner had been asked to make improvements to our living conditions, but failed to take action.
I started my Journey in the Isolation Unit where I had a visit from the Vet and Farrier to check my overall health and the condition of my hooves, to begin my personalised Rehabilitation Programme.
On the Main Yard I have settled into the routine and have just begun the backing process. I am at the early stages, but I am taking to my work very well.
I am great friends with all the Equine Care Team who give my lots of cuddles and food which I love. I am a very calm girl and love all attention, but I do get a little upset at loud bangs and lots of noise.
