My Rescue Story
Hello my name is HAPPA Liberty and I arrived at HAPPA after being rescued with a large number of equines where we were found living in awful conditions that were not suitable for animals.
When I arrived at HAPPA I was very scared and my flight mode kicked in and I tried to run away from everything as I didn’t understand what was happening.
The Equine care team have worked a lot me with and I am starting to understand they are trying to help me. I have completed my time in isolation where I had a visit from the vet and I had a lovely warm bath.
I am slowly settling in to the main yard routine and I am understanding all the new things I am experiencing.
I will now spend the summer out in the fields making lots of new friends and building on my confidence.
