My Rescue Story
I was rescued with a number of other ponies, our welfare was severely compromised and it was not safe for us to remain at the site. I was transferred to HAPPA to begin my Rehabilitation and to ensure the very best of starts for my unborn foal.
Following initial assessments and treatments, I was placed on a specialist nutritional programme to help me regain weight and support my unborn foal.
I was a very shy pony when I arrived at the Centre, the Equine Care Team worked towards gaining my trust and are delighted that I will now come over and say hello and I’m feeling more at ease when being groomed.
I did give birth to a beautiful foal named HAPPA Pugsley in April 2020. Pugsley has now grown up and it’s time for me to enjoy some peace, spending some time out in the fields with my friends. I have recently started the backing process and I’m proving to be a natural.
